Assisting in the creation of a Ships Graveyard miniature model with false perspective during the Miniature Model Making course at Creative Media Skills in Pinewood studying under Leigh and daughter Lauren Took of Mattes & Miniatures Visual Effects Ltd.
My part was the creation of much of the ground debris, some sections of the rock formation, the positioning of the forward ship laying out , the items dressing in faux foliage, sand and other elements.
This was some employment for a week or so followed by volunteering as an assistant to help hit deadlines when the budget ran out on a project to design an architectural model to be sent to Nigeria to help acquire funding for the building of a church / cathedral.
I helped sand and shape various minor parts, make the silicon mould and fast casts for steps, helped with an organ, did various sanding and other help.

A Brand Stretch assignment during Industrial Design Degree for Gillette.
Brief was to help Gillette stretch their branded product range with the theme of “Boys to Men” to aid teen boys mature with concepts for 10 years in the future.
I came up with an AI system of virtual mentors based on characters like Mr. Miyagi from “Karate Kid”, “Yoda, Van Wilder Party Liaison”, Lis from
“Weird Science”, various coaches and drill sergeants.
This is a concept model fora 360-degree virtual reality projector and sensor array to project onto walls to create a virtual environment.
Constructed from high density Sikablock urethane foam with a fisheye lens, use of a 5 axis milling machine and lathes.
